Dr. Michael Fanous, DPM Double Board Certified Food & Ankle Surgeon
Dr. Fanous has a strong belief that by educating patients about their medical concerns, they become the strongest advocates for their own healing. His knowledge about the most cutting-edge procedures, enables Dr. Fanous to answer all of his patient’s questions, for both traditional and non-traditional techniques.
Dr. Fanous is a highly qualified foot and ankle surgeon with expertise in endoscopic, minimally invasive procedures that can get you back on your feet that same day. Dr. Fanous is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree. He completed his residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at USC-County General Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He has earned double master’s degrees: a Master of Health Administration (MHA) and a Master of Science in Gerontology (MS) from the University of LaVerne, California. Dr. Fanous was a former Founder and Director of the Residency Training Program and former Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Anaheim General Hospital. Dr. Fanous is a Diplomate of the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He is Double Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery and Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine. He is a professor of surgery at the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Fanous is a renowned, international lecturer and speaker to physicians and surgeons on the latest cutting edge surgical procedures. He is a physician-trainer for endoscopic, minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Fanous is frequently called upon to consult with other surgeons on complicated foot and ankle procedures. Furthermore, Dr. Fanous serves as an adjunct professor at the University of LaVerne.
